Our Wedding

We met through a friend, on a video call neither one of us really wanted to be on. It was the early months of COVID, when the world had retreated indoors, and social interaction had been replaced by glitchy screens and awkward small talk. But somehow, we both ended up on the same team.We didn't fall in love right away, in fact, we didn't think much of it- just two strangers navigating a strange, shared moment. We weren't supposed to fall in love. That wasn't the point. It was just something to pass the time- something light in a heavy world. But slowly, quietly, we did- when we drove along the Pacific Coast from Laguna Beach to San Diego, watched sunsets in Torrey Pines, swam in cenotes in Tulum, climbed the cliffs in Nusa Penida, dive together in Nusa Lembongan, wandered the glowing Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, got lost in the food markets in Kuala Lumpur, swam side by side with the whale sharks and leaped through turquoise pools while rappelling beside waterfalls in Cebu, between flights and hikes, across oceans and time zones, in every moment we choose each other again and again. We became each other's favorite destination. Eventually, we built a life not tied to a place, but to each other. Looking back, we often laughed at how unlikely it all was- how a casual introduction on a video chat during the pandemic turned into a lifetime of memories. But we also knew that no matter how unlikely it seems, some people are simply meant to find each other. Because when it's meant to be, not even a global pandemic- or a few thousand miles- can keep love from finding you. -Robert &amp; Michelle

Getting There The closest airport is Caticlan (MPH)- a quick land and boat ride will get you straight to paradise. Another option is Kalibo (KLO), which has more flights, but it is a bit farther away (about 1.5-2 hours by land plus a short boat ride). Don't worry, once you see that turquoise water, the journey will feel worth it!

Where to Stay From luxury resorts to cozy beachfront stays, Boracay has it all. Whether you want the full five-star pampering or a laid-back island vibe, you'll find a spot that feels just right. We'll share some of our favorites to make choosing easier.

Things to Do You won't be bored here, unless you want to be :)Some island must-dos: -Hop on a sailboat at sunset (trust us, it's magic).-Island-hop and discover hidden beaches.-Try your hand at paddleboarding, snorkeling, or even kite -surfing.-Treat yourself to a beachside massage (yes, it's as amazing as it sounds)-Or just grab a mango shake and let the day drift by on White Beach.

Transportation Leave the logistics to us! On the day of the ceremony, we'll be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding venue so you can relax, enjoy, and focus on celebrating. Pick-up times and locations will be shared closer to the date.

Make it a Vacation We hope you don't just come for our renewal of vows- stay a little longer! Think of this as the perfect excuse for a tropical getaway. Sun, sand, celebration, and lots of love- we can't wait to share Boracay with you.

We have arranged a sumptuous brunch aboard a private boat as we recover, refuel, and relive the magic from the night before. Expect good food, sea breeze, and soothing views- followed by cruising, cocktails, and one last unforgettable party on the water.
